Business Champion Awards update

What’s already confirmed for the 2023 Business Champion Awards

As you can imagine there’s a hub of activity always going behind the scenes to organise any event and our awards are no different.

Wishing to build on the glittering success of the 2022 Business Champion Awards, the entire awards team came together, listened to feedback and have made a plan to elevate the potential reach and network of the awards over the coming year.

The team at the Business Champion Awards are really excited to confirm a few important details for the 2023 awards cohort.

Already confirmed for the 2023 Awards series

Huw Edwards is set to return

Guiding the audience through a night of entertainment, business awards and making everyone feel welcome and smile is easy work for Huw. He’s naturally brilliant, lovely and entertaining. We’re thrilled that he’s already agreed to return to host the next awards in March 2023.

Also new for 2023 is our Finalists Celebration event

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Lord Sebastian Coe will be joining us and all of the 2023 finalists for an evening of stories. Lord Coe is a true champion in sports, business and with his charitable associations. He understands the grit and determination of pushing through challenges and setbacks in order to achieve his goals. From his own personal success to the numerous feats he has turned around and made possible for the United Kingdom, we know that everyone will be inspired by his stories. It will also be a fantastic opportunity for you to network and gain useful industry contacts for future collaborations.

Staying true to our sustainable values

Once again, we’re letting our values define our decision-making process – if something doesn’t meet them then it’s out. As a totally sustainable venue and a true leader within the Canary Wharf Group’s Green Mantra, we’ve confirmed that the East Wintergardens will be the venue for the 2023 awards. The space is light, open and just feels like the right place to celebrate Britain’s businesses. It’s so easy to get to, literally thirty seconds from the Tube and there is a plethora of hotels and Air BnB’s to choose from in the area.

Awards director Richard Alvin said:

‘You have to start from somewhere and the 2022 Awards saw us leap onto the scene which was no mean feat especially due to all of the challenges and restrictions of covid.

Hearing the positive feedback from finalists and attendees has been an incredible complement for myself and my team to hear and has charged us up to push forwards with organising the next finale.

Being free of the pandemic has enabled us to extend our reach moving forwards and with the fireside chat it’s already elevated to profile and connect everybody involved on a higher level’

The vision for the awards was always to be continued well into the year to really herald the nationwide champions. Now we have our list of 2022 winners, our videographer, JP has already begun filming and sharing their stories to profile their work on a higher level.’
