Business Champion Awards – UK Entry Terms & Conditions

To ensure that the Business Champion Awards are robust and transparent the following terms and conditions are in place:

  1. Each entry will be provided feedback based upon your scoring from the judges. This will be emailed to you when the finalists are announced during January 2023. 
  2. Should for any reason the event be postponed, your entry will still be valid and will be carried through to the appropriate date.
  3. All entries are treated with the upmost confidentiality. All judges are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and only the Chair of judges, the shortlisting panel and your category judges can see your application. 
  4. By entering the Awards, the Entrant hereby warrants that all information submitted is true, accurate and complete. The Organisers will verify information contained in the Entry against open source data to ensure the Entrants eligibility to enter the Awards and within an appropriate category. 
  5. The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify an Entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe that an Entrant has breached any of the Rules, any applicable law (any copyright law) or has otherwise infringed the intellectual property of any third party.
  6. In the event a Finalist or Winner is disqualified from the Awards, the Organisers will select an alternative Finalist or Winner in the same manner as the original and such selection will be subject to the Rules of the Awards.
  7. All Entries must be submitted using the official online entry process. No alternative means of entry will be accepted.
  8. Amendments cannot be made to an Entry once submitted. If an Entrant has any concerns about information included in an Entry after it has been submitted, they should contact the Organisers directly.
  9. In the event the Organisers have reasonable grounds to believe an Entrant has attempted to influence the decision of the judges further, by any means outside or in addition to the official Entry, the Entrant will be disqualified.
  10. Judges must declare any possible conflict of interest with an entrant either personally or professionally and that judge will be excluded from any involvement with that particular entrant. If any non-disclosed conflict is brought to the attention of the organisers, and it is deemed that a conflict is in place, that entrant will be disqualified.
  11. All Entries must be submitted, and Fees received before the Closing Date. No Entry will go forward for judging unless full payment of the Fee is received.
  12. Upon being shortlisted, Entrants agree that at least one representative will be present at the Ceremony. (all finalists will receive one complimentary place to the awards gala dinner on the 22nd March 2023)
  13. By submitting an Entry to the Awards the Entrant agrees to comply with the Rules and that elements highlighted for public disclosure within an entry can and will be used by the organisers during the process of the management of the awards.
