Chairman of You Cloud Bangladesh and Bangla Pay a new pre paid credit card system, online e wallet and POS merchant services to be launched in Bangladesh in conjunction with MasterCard.
Ali is also the Managing Director of Redwood Accountants & Tax Consultants, he is also one of the directors of Dyzyn Media Group a new IT solutions and social media company., He is the CEO of Switch Power and Gas. Nawaz is also the General Secretary of UKBCCI Midlands Region, UK Bangladeshi Catalyst of Commerce & Industry.
He also owns various other companies in the UK and abroad including a property sales agency and IT and software company in Dubai, and a marketing company in Dubai.
Nawaz is also a former elected Councilor for Birmingham City Council and served as the Trade Ambassador for Birmingham, he also sat on various bodies including Licensing & Public protection Committee and Social Cohesion & Community Safety o & S Board and the Contracts, partnerships and third sector O & S Boards for Birmingham City Council.
Nawaz is also involved in a number of voluntary and community organizations, including being the CEO of Rising Starts Football Academy which is a FA approved football coaching academy in the UK and will soon be launching in Bangladesh and Middle East, he is an Advisor and Trustee of Osmani Nogor Gorib Kollan Trust, and was chair of Lozells Neighborhood Forum, which he set up and also sat on numerous community organizations and boards including the ward advisory board for the Lozells & East Handsworth Ward in Birmingham, Vice chair of Neighborhood Management Board for Lozells Ward in Birmingham, Chair of Community First board in Yardley Birmingham.
