Having graduated with a Diploma in Marketing in Bristol 1998, Jeremy Freeman founded his web agency Bamps – and quickly became one of the most sought after digital agencies in Watford employing 26 staff. He also acquired several online toy shops specialising in traditional toys and bubble related products.
He even started manufacturing bubble liquid in the UK and this became an Amazon best seller selling hundreds of bottles per day. In addition we developed a warehouse, logistics and fulfilment operation. Jeremy then sold his client portfolio after 21 years to another digital agency.
In 2019, Jeremy was headhunted on LinkedIn to head the business development and marketing operations of the non-profit SmartGiving. He worked with many philanthropists, companies and charities in raising over £10m per annum for thousands of charities.
During this period, Jeremy was also an Area Director for BNI with responsibility for different regions in the home counties and launched nine different business networking groups in London and Hertfordshire; and increasing size of established groups by 75% resulting in growth of BNI region by 20% of members generating an additional £516k in revenue for BNI in six years single-handedly. In addition, he was responsible for a team of directors, generating a revenue of £18m for BNI members between 2013 and 2020.
All of this was achieved in spite of his disability – he is profoundly deaf and coped admirably using his own lipreading skills. Jeremy also happens to be an expert witness and forensic lipreader and has lipread for the media, legal, health, sport and security sectors.
Recently, Jeremy set up a new business, Business Brainbox – a conversation starter marketing and business development agency designed to help small businesses and non-profits generate new leads with a mixture of traditional and digital marketing.
